About Green Door Café

Launched in 2009, Green Door Catering provided a refreshing alternative for a progressively thinking, health conscious growing society.   The demand for delicious, wholesome, cruelty free, locally sourced, pesticide free & environmentally friendly food was an obvious step in the right direction for CEO & founder Martin Hall (O.B.E).  

Starting in a ‘grass roots’ manner, farmers markets provided exposure & working in the tightest of kitchens…. the seed began to grow. Catering demands grew within the San Diego County & events were catered in such desirable locations as Hawaii & Pebble Beach.

The opportunity to open a restaurant surfaced in February of 2017 when ‘Green Door Cafe’ opened its doors to the public.

It has often been said that the restaurant (especially the gorgeous patio ) evokes feelings of being transported to Paris or Madrid. Green Door Cafe represents the last bastion of independent entrepreneurship & salutes our hard working forefathers who believed in doing things with ‘Pride & integrity’.

All foods are made in our kitchen from scratch & rather than emulate we strive for originality creating legendary dishes such as our distinctly unique  ‘Bombay Bomb’ classic Vegan burger made with thirty wholesome, soy, nut & gluten free ingredients, hands down the most natural & best tasting burger on the planet.

Our seasonal menu is dictated by what is ‘in season’ & produce is picked up religiously every week from local farmers. We are committed to providing the tastiest natural foods, using sustainable & eco conscious practices & our motto says it all.
